A couple of Sleazoids have been down with the Covid sickness, so we will be as wildly under-rehearsed as you might have come to expect from us by now – but we’re all clear now – be gentle with us folks! Remember – don’t venture out if you’re feeling ill, or take a test – no-one wants to spread Covid for xmas.

We had an absolute blast recording with Nigel Humberstone and Klive Humberstone at Beehive Works in Sheffield at the weekend! The nuts and bolts of Sleazoids album #2 are being jiggled around and, like last time, we blasted through the main tracks all in one day, so expect that raw, live, will-it-fall-apart-or-won’t-it Sleazoids vibe! A HUGE thanks to the Humberstones, who are always professional, super easy to work with and most of all, lovely people and a lot of fun!
We’ve been busy lately getting up to speed and playing a few shows, most recently with the splendid X-Ray Cat Trio in Sheffield to celebrate Day of the Dead!
We are very excited to be going into the studio this weekend at Beehive Works with the very talented ITN folks (with whom we recorded our debut album Insane Escapades) to record what we hope will be album #2! We’ve got a whole set of new songs, with a magikal cult horror vibe, so watch this space!
STOCK CHECK: We’ve emptied another box of records this week and have only 17 of our ‘Phantom Zone’ t-shirts left! It’s Bandcamp Friday today so more of the money from purchases made today goes towards the band rather than site fees.
It’s been a funny old year or so, but now the world is starting to open up again and we have all been double-vaccinated, we are booking shows (all being well) for 2021 – see our GIGS PAGE. We already have gigs lined up for 16th July in Sheffield, 17th September in Todmorden and in Sheffield again on 17th December. We’re also hoping to get that postponed second album recorded before the end of this year! More details will follow, but we’re looking forward to seeing you again! (better get practicing, huh?!)
